I was pleased to discovery this tour, as noted from the concierge at my hotel. It was such a delight! I have been on a few walking tours of various cities, because i love to be out in the city, discovering it, versus being on a boat or in a bus looking at it from afar. This one, however, was incredibly informative and really fun - stood apart from most I've been on! George had a great wit, a deep knowledge and passion for the city and its history, and I found myself often surprised by the interesting architectural details and anecdotes that one would never know before this.

It lasted about 90 minutes, and was a really comfortable pace. I went on it with my father, who has bad knees, and he never felt like it was rushed or anything. In fact, he was walking faster than me at times out of enjoyment! smile Anyhow, I would highly recommend this tour - it's everything a tourist and a local could want in a tour - great location, great views and details, an informative, witty, and knowledgeable guide, and a great spread of the city with facts I was never aware of.

Chicago - what a beautiful city?!! And this tour is a great slice of it all!! Highly recommended.

My wife Sharon and I were privileged to have a guided tour of the great and interesting architecture of Chicago May 28th, 2009 by the owner and guide George himself.

Our tour which lasted about 90 minutes was a real treat and enough of a reason to try one of the other tours offered By Georgie Tourgie. The length of the tour was perfect, the information and data well researched and presented so that there was enough that you had a good grasp of the information but NOT overwhelmed or overloaded. The even better part of this form of tour, is that asking questions along the way is easy and does not take away from the presentation that is planned.

This is an excellent tour and exceptional value.... and there is even a built-in "pit stop" if one so requires.

So if you are in Chicago, do take the time out of whatever you are doing and let George guide 90 minutes of your time and know beautiful Chicago ... even better...

Thanks again George,

Dave and Sharon McPhail
